Something about me

Where I came from

I’ve always been curious about how businesses connect with people, and how small changes in that connection can make a big difference to growth.

After graduating with a Design Management degree from UCA, I’ve spent my career working across sales, marketing, content, and digital, from FMCG and Entertainment to SaaS and Design Agencies. My first role involved a boot full of Cadbury chocolate as a sales rep in South London (yes, I ate a lot of it).

Since then, I’ve held roles such as Sales Director, Product Manager, Account Director, and Business Strategist, working with brands like Sony, Virgin, M&S and WHSmith. But it’s always been small businesses that light me up. I love the variety, the passion, and the chance to wear many hats.Working with them built a skill set I never could have developed in larger companies.

Over the years I’ve built websites, refined UX and CX, led content strategy, created new products, shaped digital tools, and helped grow a client’s billing by £500k over three years — all with one goal in mind: helping businesses show up clearly and confidently to their customers.

That mix of experience means I naturally see the big picture, spotting what’s working, what’s not, and how everything fits together to move a business forward.

Who I am

While I run my own business, I’m also a mother to two awesome humans, a wife, a daughter, a sister, and a few other titles I wear proudly. I won’t give you my life story, but it’s fair to say I’m more than just a growth mentor.

A common thread that runs through everything I do is a desire to fix things. In fact, before common sense kicked in, I briefly considered calling myself The Fixer. But it sounded a little too much like I erased people for money, so that idea was shelved pretty quickly.

Outside of work, I chair my local Parish Council, which is both fulfilling and frustrating in equal measure. I also co-host a podcast for neurodiverse business owners. It combines my love of honest conversation with my belief that everyone deserves the tools and confidence to grow in their own way. I edit our local magazine, love live music, and never say no to a cinema trip. After all, what’s the point of running my own business if I don’t make space for life outside of it too?

Where I'm heading

A few years ago, I went through a long and exhausting health journey. It was confusing, overwhelming, and full of dead ends — no one seemed to look at the full picture. And no one was coming up with any real answers. What I really needed was someone to filter out the bits that didn't matter, and find a way to move forward.

That experience changed how I see things. I realised that many small business owners feel exactly the same — stuck in the weeds, juggling too much information, and unsure what to focus on next. Now, my work is about being that steady hand for them: helping people step back, see the big picture, and then find a way forward with a plan that actually works for them.

Alongside my business, I also work as a teenage mentor and advocate for better access to support. It’s personal for me — everyone deserves the chance to grow and succeed. And sometimes that takes having someone in your corner to help you achieve that. I am also co-host for a podcast helping neurodiverse business owners succeed. Whether it’s business or life, I want to help people go out into the world as their best confident selves.
